Being a Creative Introvert

I recently came across the term “Creative Introvert” and it spoke to me on a cosmic level.

I feel the most peace while working on a new creative project on a cozy rainy day with my cat nuzzled in my lap. However, the creative mind tends to be the most self-destructive. As much as I love having time to myself, it can be difficult to keep the creative juices flowing. Sometimes, a sense of community is necessary to expand one’s ideas and find inspiration.

If you are anything like me then you understand what I am trying to say. There are plenty of places to rent desk space to work on artistic pursuits around other artists. It sounds easy, right?

Nope.

For the beginners, like myself, it can be incredibly daunting to enter a world of professionals and try to keep up. That is why the online community can be a beautiful thing! I love to exchange ideas with others and grow as a person and creative mind. I have joined several creative Facebook groups but sometimes they are too large to really form that necessary bond.

To be honest, I don’t know what I am trying to get out of this post. Maybe to tell you, that you are not alone. Maybe, to start a community of my own!

I am the kind of person who loves to bounce ideas off of others and I know there must be people out there who feel the same way.

So if you are a creative mind like me and need a little extra motivation or inspiration for your current projects feel free to reach out! Let’s start something together and keep each other motivated! We all need a little help now and then and who knows what will happen from one email… I cannot wait to hear from you!

xo, Noelle
